As a public ancillary fund we feature only charities registered with the ACNC and based in Australia. Charitabl. does not allow crowdfunding and we only list registered and reporting charities to ensure that you can trust that your donation will go to the right place.

Charitabl. is like any other charity. We want to make sure that your donation has the most impact possible and is used where and how you want it to be.

If for any reason we can’t reach the charity or they are unable to accept the grant we will contact you and you are able to re-direct it or we will process a refund in full.

We do not hold the monies, keep them or make interest on them. We either grant it forward to your nominated charity or pass it back to you in full.

Yes, and no! It all depends on the tax status of the charity you’re donating to, with our legal structure we can accept both tax deductible and non-tax deductible donations that will be receipted separately and shown separately on your annual giving statement.

When you donate through Charitabl. you will receive and receipt from either Charitable Giving Ltd (ABN: 81 657 475 164) or The Charitable Fund (ABN: 76 615 370 698) depending on the tax status of the charity you’ve chosen. Donations are held in a non-interest bearing clearing account and we have a verification process we follow to ensure the nominated charities bank details are correct, once verification is completed we make the direct deposit grant directly to the charity fee free.

Yes, at the end of the AU Financial year you will receive an automated annual giving statement with a transcript of the donations you’ve made. This is not a tax statement but does include the dates, amount, and destination of your donations, essentially a statement of giving. The perfect point of reference for your tax return.

Charitabl. is free and fee free for all charities. We do have some premium paid features that a charity can opt-in to if they’d like. However, the Charitabl. system is free to use for charities in its basic form.

Charitabl. asks Charities and Corporates to opt-in and subscribe to premium features on the platform. The basic system is free to use and forever fee free and commission free.
