You will always keep 100% of what’s given on either the free version or Pro versions of our technology.

When giving through Charitabl. you’re giving to either Charitable Giving Ltd or The Charitable Fund, both registered charities with the ACNC.

Your gift is the granted to the charity partner you nominate and we cover all the bank fees and charges to ensure your generosity is as impactful as possible!

We’ve worked with Apple and Android to secure an exemption on payments made with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Your privacy and safety are important to us! We securely encrypt your data ensuring your details are stored as safe as can be.

As a public ancillary fund we feature only charities registered with the ACNC and based in Australia. Charitabl. does not allow crowdfunding and we only list registered and reporting charities to ensure that you can trust that your donation will go to the right place.

Charitabl. is like any other charity. We want to make sure that your donation has the most impact possible and is used where and how you want it to be. Where we’re a little different though is that if for some reason we’re unable to grant your donation to the nominated charity we will first try and return it to you so you’re able to re-direct it to someone else, we will also give you the chance to re-direct the grant to another charity of your choice.

If we can’t reach you we will re-direct it to a charity in the same category or line of work as your original donation and if that fails we will include it in the Charitable Fund and distribute it.

We want to make sure that you are in control and that if your donation can’t reach its destination then it’s given back to you to use again.

Yes, and no! It all depends on the tax status of the charity you’re donating to, with our legal structure we can accept both tax deductible and non-tax deductible donations that will be receipted separately and shown separately on your annual giving statement.

If your donation is tax deductible you will receive a receipt from The Charitable Fund and if it is not tax deductible you will be receipted from Charitable Giving Ltd.

We will then grant your donation to the user nominated charity.

When you donate through Charitabl. you will receive and receipt from either Charitable Giving Ltd (ABN: 81 657 475 164) or The Charitable Fund (ABN: 76 615 370 698) depending on the tax status of the charity you’ve chosen. Donations are held in a clearing account and Charitabl. does not make interest on this, invest it or do anything “funny” with it.

We quite honestly only care about getting your money to the charity you want as quickly and safely as possible, doing our best to make your giving experience safe, secure, and as impactful as possible.

Yes, at the end of the AU Financial year you will receive an automated annual giving statement with a transcript of the donations you’ve made. This is not a tax statement but does include the dates, amount, and destination of your donations, essentially a statement of giving. The perfect point of reference for your tax return.

Charitabl. is free and fee free for all charities, however, if charities would like to access bonus features, they need an active subscription. The basic model though is free for charities and in line with our vision of helping charities take donations, faster, cheaper and safer than ever before.

Charitabl. give Charities and Corporates the ability to opt-in to premium features on the platform.

These features are totally optional and the app in its base form is free to use and fee free.
