No. Charitabl. is not a fundraising company, it is not a Pty Ltd, and it is not involved in crowd funding. Charitabl. is a registered not for profit with the ACNC.

We’re a registered Public Ancillary Fund (PuAF) which means we exist solely to make disbursements to charities and to make giving simpler, safer, and fairer.

We don’t take a cut, and we don’t keep the funds. We exist to move your donation, in full, to the charity you choose.

The Charitabl. platform is free to use and commission free in its basic form. We send all monies on, verify bank details directly with the charity and if the charity cannot be reached refund the donation in full to the user.

Yes. The Charitabl. app uses best-in-class security including multi-factor authentication, encrypted payments, and secure Stripe integration. Donors can give confidently and easily, knowing their personal information is protected.

We use Microsoft Azure and developers are Australian based.

It sure is, Charitabl. is Australian owned and operated with a Board of Directors.

Absolutely not.

We’ve always been 0% commission, and since 2025 became 0% fees - including bank processing costs.

That means 100% of donations goes to the charity that the donor has nominated, making it literally cheaper to give through Charitabl. than through most charity websites.

Charitabl. is a not-for-profit and has two entities registered with the ACNC.

Charitable Giving Ltd (ABN: 81 657 475 164) is a non tax deductible registered charity and The Charitable Fund (ABN: 76 615 370 698) is a Public Ancillary Fund (DGR2).

All donations are held in a non interest bearing trust account and are passed on in their entirety to the user nominated end point.

As a Public Ancillary Fund we are constitutionally bound to pass on the donation in its entirety to the nominated charity. If a charity cannot be reached the donation is refunded to the user or re-directed to another charity at their request.

All donations made through Charitabl. flow directly to the verified bank account of the registered charity. Once a donor gives through the platform, the funds are processed securely and transferred to the charity’s nominated account. Charities can view all live transactions, donor data, and receipts in real time through their Charitabl.Pro control centre, ensuring complete transparency and traceability.

We use Xero to monitor these payments and verify bank details directly with the charity.

If a charity cannot be reached and the donation cannot be processed online it is return in full to the user.

Yes. Before any charity can receive funds, Charitabl. verifies its bank account details through a secure validation process. This ensures that all donations are deposited into legitimate, authorised accounts held by the charity. Our verification process helps protect donors, maintain compliance, and ensure every dollar reaches its intended destination safely.

Charitabl. only works with registered charities in Australia and does not remit to overseas bank accounts nor any account in an individual or non business name.

We bank with CBA and all payments are made with an internal 2-step verification process of team members.

Yes! Charitabl. was built to restore trust in giving - not erode it.

Here’s how:

• We do not solicit donations or fundraise on behalf of charities.

Yes. Charitabl. holds the required fundraising licences in all Australian states and territories where they are applicable. We maintain compliance with each jurisdiction’s regulations to ensure our platform operates safely, transparently, and in full alignment with national fundraising standards.

Charitabl. is also registered with the ACNC and a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

We believe in choice and control.

If you’d like to remove yourself from the possibility of disbursement from our fund you can remove yourself anytime by simply emailing us - no questions asked. We do kindly ask for 24 hours to action this request.

Charitabl. collects your donation into our PuAF or company limited by guarantee (depending on the tax status of the recipient), then distributes it exactly as you nominate - it’s part of our legal and constitutional obligation.

Before any funds are sent, we verify the charity’s bank details to ensure your money reaches the right place, securely.

If we cannot contact the charity, or cannot verify the bank account details after several attempts, and cannot make the donation online, the donor is notified, and is offered the option of redirecting their donation to a different charity, or offered a full refund. Under no circumstances does Charitabl. keep the donation.

Yes, this is a free service. You can update, change or remove your charity from the possibility of disbursement from our fund.

To update your profile for free, simply click here.

Note: We do not actively fundraise on behalf of any charity and charities can turn off donations or remove themselves from the chance of disbursement from our fund for free anytime.

Our goal is to help users and charities take donations faster and cheaper than anyone else by providing a secure environment for them to operate in.

The platform is free to use and fee free. We do offer a range of premium benefits to charities wanting to use the platform.

No. Since 2025 Charitabl. has made a choice to cover the bank fees of all donations that come through the app so we can help you increase the % of each dollar raised and reduce administrative costs.

You will always keep 100% of what’s given on either the free version or Pro versions of our technology.

Unlike traditional platforms that take 5–15% in fees, Charitabl.Pro charges a flat annual rate for opt-in tools like Giving Coach AI —so 100% of your donations go to your charity. We also provide an app-native giving experience, full automation, and donor engagement tools to help you raise more without increasing your workload.

Yes. The Charitabl. app is designed to connect donors with causes they care about—meaning your charity can be discovered by people actively looking to give. You’ll also be included in seasonal giving campaigns (Monthly Giving, Major Giving, New Donor Giving and Seasonal Giving) to boost visibility and reach.

Yes! We have a whole heap of new features planned as well as AI tools and as a Charitabl.Pro customer you get these updates free of charge. We are not trying to get you in then charge more, we’re hoping to use the collective power of many to make state of the art technology available to all.

None at all. Once you subscribe, our team sets up your profile, activates your Stripe connection (we cover the fees), and ensures you’re ready to receive donations. You’ll also get a dashboard to track everything in real time—no coding or IT needed.

We sure do. If you’re a charity with under $1m in revenue you’re eligible for our KICKSTARTER discount where you get access to Charitabl.Pro for $999 per year. This represents a saving of $4,000 per year and we hope will help you scale and grow all you’re doing.

Mike Gore was the CEO of a charity for 6 years and built Charitabl. to help address many of the problems he faced when working in the not-for-profit sector - primarily increasing donor fear around digital safety and security, increasing fee structures on donations and rising administrative costs that were affecting project impact for charities.

Joce Goto worked as the CoS at a not-for-profit for 6 years and has had experience in fundraising and development as well as marketing and communications.
